The hymns are chanted beautifully in Greek and in Byzantine music by the Byzantine choir “The Kalophonarides” lead by the choir master George I. Remoundos. Archimandrite Zacharias contributed to this cd by writing the prologue in the booklet.

The Byzantine Choros is a wonderful sound of sung chants that is refreshing the atmosphere around me and empowering me to keep my eyes upon the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. The hard-back booklet that comes with it contains the poetic texts of the hymns and is accompanied by colourful iconic illustrations. Thank you so much. And unbelievable that it cost me £2.00. And again I had to purchase another to give as a gift because of the quality and beauty contained within.
