This book and its layout were suggested by St Sophrony the Athonite. Conversations of the author with children are faithfully reported, together with commentary and a theological framework. There are also longer talks for teenagers and college students. The topics under discussion are wide-ranging, including personhood, dogma, church history, catechism, relationships, science, and moral issues. This book is intended to assist parents and others whose task is to communicate the Orthodox faith to children.
