Archimandrite Zacharias Zacharou
Father Zacharias studied theology at the Orthodox Theological Institute of Saint Sergius in Paris and at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. He has lived all his monastic life in the monastery of Saint John the Baptist in Essex where he serves as a spiritual Father and minister of the word of God to his brethren and the people that come to him. I found the Justice of God in Stages to be clearly written as well as mercifully short and concise. As a novice layperson I appreciated this. However it is still dence with meaning beyond my grasp without having lived it, one senses. It faithfully and lovingly shares with us the nuanced lived teaching of the grace filled Saint Sophrony on how God’s grace works in reality. From someone who experienced him.
Of course the same wisdom is present by the Holy Spirit as in all the great works of past fathers and mothers in Orthodoxy. A lot of the benefit I received is in the nuance, the modern language and it did not disapoint on teaching on what the title promises.
